Privacy policy
Updated 1 November 2026
You can play Hill Route without an account. The game doesn't ask for your name, email or phone number. This page explains what stays on your device, what leaves it and who handles it. Hill Route is made by Vladyslav Ponych, who is responsible for this policy. Questions go to ponychvladyslav@gmail.com.
What stays on your device
Your progress (coins, cars, upgrades, records and settings) is stored only on your iPhone or iPad. Nobody else can see it, and deleting the game deletes it.
Ads
The free game shows ads served by Google AdMob: videos you choose to watch for a reward and, now and then, an ad between runs. To show ads, limit how often you see them and count what was shown, Google's software in the game collects data about the device and the ad: the IP address, device model and system version, language, rough location derived from the IP address, and how you interacted with the ad.
The advertising identifier (IDFA) is used only if you allow tracking when iOS asks. Then ads can be personalised. If you don't allow it, you still see ads, just not personalised ones. You can change this any time in iOS Settings ▸ Privacy & Security ▸ Tracking.
In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the game asks for your consent with Google's consent form before ads are personalised. How Google uses this data is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
The No ads purchase turns off the ads between runs. Videos for a reward stay available and are always your choice.
Anonymous statistics
With Anonymous statistics on in the game's settings, Hill Route sends anonymous events: which maps and cars are chosen, how far runs go and where players stop playing. A player is marked by a random code made on the device, with no name, no advertising identifier and no location. The statistics are processed by TelemetryDeck (Germany, EU). Turn the setting off and nothing is sent.
Game Center
Leaderboards, achievements and friends work through Apple's Game Center, under Apple's terms. The game sees only what Game Center shows every player: your Game Center name and scores.
Purchases
Payments go through the App Store. The game gets a receipt for what was bought and never sees your card or Apple Account details.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the game schedules its reminders on the device itself. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Children
Hill Route is a game for everyone and isn't directed at children under 13. The game itself collects nothing that identifies a child, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

This website
This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers or analytics. The server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page and time) for a short while, to keep the site running and safe.
Changes
If the game starts collecting anything new, this page changes first, and the date at the top moves.
